Good Morning Everybody!
Wishing you a very, very, very, very, very Merry Monday. I hope you’re warm, and hopeful, and preparing to transcend the heart of darkness with the solstice next week. To help those in those preparations Friday @ The Living Room will focus on the charism of love – the good news to any bad news – which we’ll focus on in the meditation and conversation. Please feel most welcome to come and celebrate the birthright of love we share with the ants, the stars, our neighbours and all the strangers in the world.
FRIDAYS@THE LIVINGROOM WILL TAKE PLACE THIS FRIDAY 17th DEC AT 5.30PM – 9.30PM.
As usual the evening will take place in two parts, and as in previous weeks, we’re exploring our understanding, reception and experience of love.
5.30pm – 6.45pm Meditation with Dr. Francis Padinjarkara. This is a guided meditation to connect us with the universal truth of love.
7.15pm – 9.20pm Conversation with John Morgan on the Carmelite charism of Love. This is one man’s understanding of Carmelite spirituality. The joy of union with the Beloved gives Carmelite spirituality it’s urgency and intimacy and humility. Love carries charity, community and action, this is an exploration of the contemporary expressions of an ancient tradition.
All are most welcome to come for all or some of these events, at a come and leave at will basis.
