FRIDAYS@THE LIVING ROOM PRESENTS
A Contemplative Conversation
IT’S NOT THE ECONOMY, STUPID!
Contemplating the financial collapse
– and flipping the fearFriday 21st October 7.00pm-9.30pm
Profound economic, social and environmental risk point to a ‘radically uncertain’ future.
This series of meetings is about how we experience radical uncertainty
About learning how we and our financial system works
About how by referring to a contemplative attitude we are enabled to
remain strong, resourceful,
collective.
This series of meetings is about witnessing how the great spiritual traditions overcome fear.
How apprehension can be counterbalanced through meditation.
How Love encourages community.
How conversation in contemplation creates vision.
Financial relations show that our collective vulnerability is what mysteriously binds us all.
How we come together and prepare for peace is a reflective practice.
All are welcome.
